1. General Terms and Conditions
The privacy policy of UAB "Adanus", company code - 306077729 (" Company") sets out the basis on which the Company collects, processes and stores personal data about the users of the website and the e-shop.
Users' personal data is collected and processed only for the purposes set out in this Policy. The Policy applies to all Users who visit the Website.
The Company shall be considered the controller of the Users' personal data.
2. User data collected by the Company
The Company may collect and process the following User Data:
2.1. the data provided by Users when filling in forms on the online shop at https://adanus.lt ("Website"). This data relates to the placement and execution of User orders when Users order the Company's goods and services by visiting the Website, by email, etc., including the User's name, surname, email address, telephone number, delivery address, the name of the goods or services to be purchased, and the payment details of the goods or services;
2.2. all correspondence between Users and the Company (on the Website, by email, on the Company's Facebook account, by text messages and other means of communication);
2.3. data on the Users' browsing history in the online shop, the history of goods and services purchased and related data;
2.4. the User's name, surname, email address, telephone number, where these data are necessary for the provision of quality services.
2.4.Users' IP addresses;
2.5 Users are responsible for the correctness and veracity of the data provided to the Company.
2.6 The e-shop processes payments using the makecommerce.lt platform, which is operated by Maksekeskus AS (Liivalaia 45, Tallinn 10145, Estonia, reg. no.: 12268475), and therefore your personal information necessary for the execution and confirmation of the payment will be transmitted to Maksekeskus AS.
3. Cookies and the purposes of their use
Cookies are small text documents that our servers send to your computer or device when you try to access our services. They are stored in your browser and then sent back to our servers so that we can provide contextual content. Without cookies, your online experience would be significantly less pleasant. We use them to support your activity on our website. For example, your active session (so you don't have to log in again) or your shopping basket.

4. User consent to data processing for direct marketing purposes
4.1 The User expresses his/her consent to receive the Company's newsletters and promotional information when he/she ticks the appropriate checkbox for the collection of personal data for direct marketing purposes at the time of ordering goods or registering.
4.2 The User may object to the provision of data for direct marketing purposes or contact the Company at any time to withdraw his/her consent to the processing of data for direct marketing purposes. In order to exercise his/her right to withdraw from the processing of data for direct marketing purposes, the User may contact the Company by e-mail at [email protected] and inform it of the withdrawal of his/her consent.
4.3 The Company shall keep the User's data to be used for direct marketing purposes for 10 years from the receipt of the User's consent, unless the User withdraws his/her consent earlier.
5. Terms of storage of user data
5.1 The User's data relating to e-commerce shall be stored for 7 years from the User's last login to the e-shop system.
5.2 User data relating to the ordering of goods or services by visiting the Company's showrooms, by e-mail or otherwise, shall be stored for 7 years from the date on which the User's order for goods or services was fulfilled.
5.3 User data used for direct marketing purposes shall be retained by the Company for the period set out in clause 4.3 of the Policy.
5.4 The data of Users who make inquiries regarding the Company's goods or services via the chat box on the Website, the Company's Facebook account, e-mail or other means of communication shall be stored for 2 years after the last contact of the User.
5.5 Where paper or electronic documents are required to be kept for a certain period of time by legal acts (e.g. legal acts approved by orders of the Chief Archivist of the Republic of Lithuania), such documents shall not be kept for longer than required.
6. Purposes of the processing of user data
The Company shall process the personal data of users for the following purposes:
6.1. to processes payments using the makecommerce.lt platform, which is operated by Maksekeskus AS (Liivalaia 45, Tallinn 10145, Estonia, reg. no.: 12268475), and therefore your personal information necessary for the execution and confirmation of the payment will be transmitted to Maksekeskus AS.
6.2. for the purpose of providing services to consumers (customers);
6.3. for the purpose of concluding and executing sale and purchase agreements with consumers (customers);
6.4. for the purpose of debt collection;
6.5. to ensure that the content of the online shop is presented in the most effective and appropriate manner for users;
6.6. for the purposes of service development, statistical data analysis and targeted marketing guidance;
6.7. to provide users with information about the goods or services they want;
6.8. for the purpose of responding to and administering users' requests for information;
6.9. for the provision of promotional information where Users have consented to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes;
6.10. for the purpose of informing Users about changes to the services provided by the Company;
6.11. for customer service quality purposes;
7. Users have the following rights:
- To be informed about the processing of their data
- To be informed by the Company, upon request by the User, from which sources and what personal data have been collected, for what purpose they are processed, to which recipients their data have been provided in the last 1 year. The information shall be provided to the user at the e-mail addresses they have provided within 30 days of the request. The Company shall provide such data to the user free of charge 1 time per calendar year.
- Upon request, require the rectification of incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate consumer data and/or the suspension of the processing of such personal data, with the exception of storage, if the consumer establishes that his/her personal data is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate or that it is being processed unlawfully and unfairly. The Company shall promptly notify the User of the rectification, destruction or suspension of the processing of personal data, whether or not carried out at the User's request.
- Upon request, the User shall have the right to obtain the personal data concerning him/her which he/she has provided to the Company in a structured, commonly used and computer-readable format, so that such data can be transmitted to another data controller (right to data portability).
- To object to the provision of data for the purpose of direct marketing as provided for in point 4.2 of the Policy;
- Upon request, the User has the right to request that the Company erase the personal data relating to him/her when he/she does not consent or withdraws his/her consent to the processing of the data (right to be forgotten), except where the Company is unable to erase the User's data due to its necessity for the performance of the contract or for the mandatory execution of the legislation.
- The user has the right to be informed of breaches of security of his data. The Company undertakes to send a notification to the User to his/her e-mail address (if known to the Company) within 72 hours of becoming aware that the User's data has been compromised (e.g. the Company's server, website, etc. has been hacked).
- If the User disagrees with the Company's action or inaction, he/she has the right to file a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate.
- All inquiries and requests relating to the User's data must be sent to the Company's e-mail address [email protected]. Alternatively, the User may submit a request by visiting the Company's office. In all cases (i.e. both when sending a request by e-mail and when submitting an original request), the Company's representative receiving the request has the right to request a proof of identity or a legally certified copy thereof.
- The Company shall respond to Users' requests and enquiries no later than 30 days after receipt.
8. Entry into force and amendments to the Policy
8.1 Any changes to this Policy will be set out in this Policy, on the Website and, where applicable, Users will be notified of changes to the Policy by email.
